MENGKONFIGURASI DHCP SERVER
Hai...
Buat kalian yang pengen liat atau pengen tau cara Mengkonfigurasi DHCP Server. Berikut ini langkah-langkah Mengkonfigurasi DHCP Server sebagai berikut:
Catatan :
* Kata2 yang bercetak tebal dan berwarna merah adalah perintah yang dijalankan pada komputer server.
* Kata2 yang berwarna pink adalah yang harus anda ubah atau buat.
Install aplikasi yang diperlukan.
1) apt-get install dhcp-server
Setting IP
2) nano /etc/network/interfaces
allow-hotplug ethO - di hapus kemudian ganti menjadi auto ethO
iface ethO inetstatic
address 192.168.0.26
netmask 255.255.255.248
network 192.168.0.24
broadcast 192.168.0.31
geteway 192.168.0.26
Untuk menjalankan services, panggil dengan
3) /etc/init.d/networking restart
Setting IP Address dan mulai mengkonfigurasi file dhcpd.conf.
4) nano /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf
Tekan F7 (Ctrl+W) dan cari baris #A slightly different configuration for an internal subnet, kemudian masukkan settingan berikut dibawahnya :

subnet 192.168.0.24 netmask 255.255.255.248 {
range 192.168.0.27 192.168.0.30;
option domain-name-servers 192.168.0.26;
option domain-name "dwi.edu";
option routers 192.168.0.26;
option broadcast-address 192.168.0.31;
default-lease-time 600;
max-lease-time 7200;
}
* Untuk kata yang tidak saya cantumkan, jangan diubah/dihapus.
Untuk merestart DHCP5) /etc/init.d/isc-dhcp-server restart
6) Sambil menunggu komputer server hidup kembali. Ubah settingan TCP/IP di client windows menjadi Automatic.
7) Kemudian ping dari komp windows ke komp server.

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 1ms, Average = 0ms
8) Check mulai dari DNS, Web, Mail, Ftp, Proxy. Jika bisa, berarti konfigurasi anda berhasil.
